Washington Crossing Historic Park in Pennsylvania has more than 500 acres of American history, natural beauty and family fun.
Princeton Battlefield is the site of one of the most important military battles in our nation's history.
The Trenton Battle Monument commemorates the American victory at the first Battle of Trenton, NJ.
The William Trent House was built in 1719 by the founder of Trenton.
The Old Barracks Museum dates back to the French and Indian War.
Monmouth Battlefield is the site of one of the largest battles in the American Revolution, and the birthplace of the legend of Molly Pitcher.

HIKING:

Goat Hill Overlook is an easy hike and offers a breathtaking view of the river. It is said to have been visited by Washington as he scouted for locations to cross. You’ll find a fantastic history of the spot here.
Baldpate Mountain has several great trails and beautiful views.
The Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space is a fantastic resource for local trails.
Visit The Lawrence Hopewell Trail for more biking & hiking.
There are amazing canal-side trails on either side of the river, both in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The Sourland Mountains are not to be missed.
