#5 | The John Honeyman Fountain & Spring House

Honeyman Fountain & Spring House

If you’re wearing good shoes, head north along the Delaware and Raritan Feeder Canal, passing under the Pedestrian Bridge. Along the canal you’ll find a charming Spring House, which was in place during the Crossing. The spring still runs into the Honeyman Fountain, named for a spy who, according to legend, assisted General Washington with the Crossing.
