We have several volunteer opportunities! Let us know what field you enjoy most by clicking the appropriate link:
Trail Stewards
The WCPA Trail Stewards meet monthly at the Park’s Nature Center, clearing trails, removing brush, and constructing water bars and other trail necessities. They often meet for lunch afterwards, courtesy of the WCPA.
Native Plantings and Invasive Species Removal
Our Invasive Species strike team meets periodically to plant natives, and remove wineberry, multiflora rose and other easily identifiable invasives. Once you’ve undergone a brief training you can work at your own time and pace!
Historic Education Tour guides
We are seeking folks interested in giving historic education tours of the State Park. All training and a complete script will be provided.
Event Volunteers
The WCPA has occasional events, and needs volunteers to set up/clean up, greet guests, distribute literature, and help manage other volunteers. Please click the link below to join the mailing list for such events as “Washington’s Landing in NJ,” or WCPA fundraising events!
